Our Story

LITBALL began with a simple idea: the game shouldn’t end when the sun goes down.

I’m Daniel Shupta, founder and CEO of LITBALL. My passion for pickleball started on the court, where countless hours of playing, competing, and improving turned into something much bigger than just a hobby. Like many players, I wanted to keep playing for as long as possible. But as the evenings grew darker, I kept running into the same problem. The ball became harder to see, visibility decreased, and eventually, the game had to come to an end.

That experience led me to ask one simple question: What if the game didn’t have to stop?

That question became the foundation of LITBALL.

I started LITBALL with a vision to challenge the limitations of traditional pickleball and create products that allow players to experience the game in new ways. What began as an idea to extend playing time beyond daylight developed into our first innovation: illuminated pickleballs designed to bring greater visibility, excitement, and a completely different experience to nighttime play.

But from the beginning, my vision for LITBALL extended far beyond a single product.

We’re building a performance-driven pickleball brand focused on innovation, quality, and the future of the game.Whether it’s developing products for nighttime play or creating reliable equipment for everyday performance, our goal is to give players the confidence to step onto the court and play their best.
